About
Field service software that tells you the truth
Built for the trades, with an AI assistant that drafts real work — and a habit of naming what it can't do yet.
Why this exists
Most field service businesses run on some combination of a calendar, a spreadsheet, a notes app, and one person's memory. It works until it doesn't — usually around the third technician, or the first month where nobody can say which jobs actually made money.
The software meant to fix that tends to arrive in one of two shapes: shallow tools that handle scheduling and little else, or enterprise platforms that need an implementation project before you can book a job. Gruvik is aimed squarely between those — the operational depth of the serious tools, self-serve enough to be running the same afternoon.
The AI part isn't a chatbot bolted onto the side. It reads your real data and drafts the actual records — jobs, estimates, invoices, customer messages — then waits for you to confirm. That ordering is the whole point.
Four things we don't compromise on
The AI proposes; you decide
Every action that would create, change, or send something comes back as a draft you confirm. This isn't a setting — it's enforced in the backend, and it's the single rule we won't trade away for convenience. Software that quietly books a job or emails a customer on your behalf is a liability, not an assistant.
Say the limitation out loud
Our route re-ordering uses straight-line distance, not drive time. The live technician map is mobile-only. There's no two-way SMS inbox. You'll find all of that written on the feature pages rather than discovered in week three — because the alternative is a refund conversation.
Depth over surface area
It's easy to ship a checkbox for everything. We'd rather the invoice lifecycle handle voids, bad debt, and reopening properly than add three shallow modules — because that's the stuff that actually bites when a real business runs on it.
Your data stays yours
Export the whole account as structured data whenever you want. Cancelling stops billing; it doesn't delete anything. Nobody should be held hostage by their own records.
Where we are right now
Gruvik is new. The product is built and working — scheduling, invoicing, payments, inventory, timesheets, the AI assistant, and a mobile app in private beta — but we're at the beginning, not scaled. There's no customer logo wall on this site because there are no customer logos to show yet, and we're not going to invent them.
If that stage suits you, the trade is a good one: you get direct access to the people building it, and the roadmap bends toward what you actually need. If you need a vendor with a SOC 2 report and a decade of references, we're honestly not there yet — the security page spells out exactly what's missing.
