Getting started
The first five things to set up
A 20-minute setup that gets you from empty account to running a real job.
1. Complete your business profile. Settings → Organization. Your business name, logo, address, and brand colour appear on every customer-facing estimate, invoice, portal page, and booking form — so this one is worth doing before you send anything out.
2. Add a customer. Customers → New customer. Name and contact details are the only required fields; properties, notes, and custom fields can come later.
3. Create a job and schedule a visit. Jobs → New job. Pick the customer, title the job, and add a visit with a date. If you have technicians, assign one directly — or ask the AI assistant who's free.
4. Invite your team. Team → Add team member. Pick a role (Owner, Dispatcher, Accountant, Technician) and they'll get login details by email. A technician only sees their own assigned work.
5. Connect a payment method. Settings → Integrations → Stripe or PayPal. Until one is connected, invoices can still be sent and paid manually, but customers won't see an online payment button.
That's enough to run a job from booking through getting paid. Everything else — inventory, expenses, timesheets, automations — can be turned on when you actually need it.
