Getting started
Bringing over data from your old system
What you can import today, what you can't, and the honest workaround.
Customers can be imported from a CSV. Settings → Data import. Map your columns to name, email, phone, and address, and the importer will create customer records in bulk. Rows that fail validation are reported back rather than silently skipped.
Nothing else has an importer yet. There is no bulk import for jobs, historical invoices, estimates, inventory, or price lists. If you need history moved across, the practical approach is: import customers, then rebuild only the open work (unpaid invoices, scheduled jobs, live quotes) by hand, and keep your old system read-only for archive purposes.
We would rather tell you that now than have you discover it halfway through a migration weekend. If you have a large historical dataset and this is a blocker, get in touch — a one-off assisted migration is something we'll do manually.
Exporting works in both directions. Every list in the app — customers, jobs, invoices, payments, expenses, timesheets — exports to CSV or Excel, so your data is never trapped here either.
